After all the challenges that 2020 and the new year has had us face, let’s focus on the positives! The Voice Project officially launched our celebration of achievements of our children and young people who are in Staffordshire’s Care.
Do you work with children and young people who have achieved something recently, or last year or through lockdown maybe?
The Voice Project would like to celebrate achievements of any kind. Younger children could be nominated for learning to walk, learning to talk, learning a new interest or sport e.g. learning to swim or ride a bike, being kind to others, making new friends, being helpful or gaining more confidence.
Older children/young people could be nominated for independence skills, continued educational attainment, participation in sporting or community activities, Duke of Edinburgh Award, artistic achievement, employment, gaining an apprenticeship, voluntary work or an area of personal development or anything else special you feel should be celebrated in their lives.
You can nominate as many children and young people as you wish.
Nominations accepted from anyone involved with a young person from 0-25 years providing the young person has a Staffordshire Social Worker.
We have received 112 nominations so far, but we have so many more children in care to be celebrated, we have extended the closing date to 4 MAY 2021
