Family Hub update – No-one Goes Hungry this Christmas

Date: Wednesday, 16th Dec 2020 | Category: Newsletter December 2020

COVID-19 has changed the way we live, work and learn. Staffordshire County Council is aware that family life is harder at the moment, with families facing increased pressure on the household budget and it does not want anyone to be left hungry because of COVID-19 this Winter. You can find out more about how the County Council is seeking to help families here

Our Family Hubs are helping individuals and families who need food and supplies. If you know a family who needs help to buy food this Winter, our District Family Hubs may be able to help. They will be able to put families in touch with people and organisations across Staffordshire who are helping people to find food supplies. The District Family Hubs may also be able to help some families with supermarket eVouchers.

Professionals are encouraged to refer families and individuals this Winter and ahead of Christmas 2020 and colleagues can make referrals by completing the enclosed form in the link above or contacting the District Family Hub directly.
