This course provides a general overview of problematic drug and alcohol use, who it affects and how. The course also explains common ways in which parents can be assessed and what risk and protective factors may exist. Delivering Early Help in Staffordshire - (free course for all staff)

This course is suitable for any practitioner working with children or young people. Upon completing this course, learners will be able to describe what an Early Help Assessment is, when it would be taken and who by. Learners will know how to proceed if they have a concern about how well a child or young people is progressing, and will be able to create, review and complete an Early Help Action Plan and Assessment Form.

ECPAT UK Child Trafficking Training

ECPAT UK stands for End Child Prostitution, Child Pornography and the Trafficking of Children for Sexual Purposes. They are a leading children's rights organisation campaigning against the commercial sexual exploitation of children in the UK and on its international aspects. In particular, we focus on the protection of trafficked children and children exploited in tourism and the prevention of such crimes.
