A Child of Mine have reached out to all partners to explain they are looking at content for this year’s National Bereaved Parents Day on Saturday 3rd July, and keeping that conversation going around child/baby loss and that it is okay to talk about it. This year A Child of Mine have the UK’s largest law firm partnering with them to help market and engage the day through the press and social media so.
The stories they tell are all so important and vital to help raise the awareness and show how it affects not just the parents but those around them, and its these stories they are asking for from you specifically around.
Dad’s story of loss
Grandparent’s perspective on their loss
Healthcare professionals – their experience of dealing with a bereaved family
Bereavement Midwifes – working with a family who know their baby is going to die
Friends – Supporting a friend who has lost a baby or child.
“All stories can be totally anonymised if you would prefer too. We are looking forward to making this even year bigger and better and sharing as many stories as we can and from lots of different perspectives. But mainly raising awareness that children do die and normalising that conversation.”
