Child Protection On-Line Learning

Staffordshire Safeguarding Children Board is offering access to an e-learning training module in Safeguarding Children.

The training is hosted by Virtual College, one of the UK's leading e-learning colleges. The courses have been developed by a 'Safeguarding Children e-Academy' comprised of 16 Local Safeguarding Children Board of which Staffordshire was a founder member.

To access this exciting innovative way of training please complete the online booking form. We will then email you with your confirmation of acceptance and your individual username and password. 
 
The courses are ideal for everyone who comes into contact with children, young people, their parents or carers through their work in either the statutory or voluntary or independent sector and are endorsed by Staffordshire Safeguarding Children Board. For information about the courses please click on the tabs on the left mandatory training or specific subject training.

How much does it cost?

• If you are a contributing member of the SSCB then our e-learning modules are free.
• If you belong to a Staffordshire charity or voluntary group, or are a volunteer it is free.
• If this does not apply some of our modules are free to anyone in Staffordshire - please check on the module you are interested in.

If the above does not apply there is a charge of £30 per licence (one licence per person), however if you access www.safeguardingchildrenea.co.uk and apply through them quoting the Promotional code of  SCBSTAF, you will receive a £5 discount.
