Please note that the Staffordshire Safeguarding Children Board Training Admin Team has moved into Staffordshire County Council's, Learning & Development Arm which is based at the Kingston Centre, Fairway, Stafford, ST16 3TW.

We will be providing the same service as usual.

Please note: 

Before attending any of our courses you must have completed:

• 'level 1' Child Protection training, either in your organisation or through our e-learning modules.

We also recommend that you complete these e-learning modules:

• Common Assessment Framework (free training)
• Child Development training (free to most organisations)
• Safeguarding Children with Disabiliites (free training)

How do I Apply?

1. Please complete the Nomination form (also found at the back of the brochure).
   
2. Ensure that your manager endorses your application and signs and prints their name.
   
3. Forward the completed nomination form to the Agency Link Person in your agency for signature. (If you do not have a link person forward to SSCB training admin).
   
4. They will forward for the attention of the SSCB Training Administration.
   
5. You will be notified if your application has been successful (or not) by email, we short list 6 weeks in advance, however if numbers are low the decision to run the event will be made 4 weeks before the event.

Please note -the latest nomination forms will be processed will be 1 weeks before the event, any received after this event will be returned to the applicants' link person or if no link person directly to the applicant. (Where possible we will try to let you know that this has happened)
