PLEASE NOTE AS FROM 22 JUNE 2010 THE SSCB HAS AGREED THAT WE WILL NOT BE PROVIDING LUNCH ON OUR TRAINING EVENTS. We are in the process of checking our contractual agreements ( where we have no choice but to continue to provide lunch), we will try to let all those due to attend an event whether this applies to them

Training Costs

Our training is funded by members of the SSCB.

From April 2010 the charge for participants attending SSCB training are as follows:-

·        Partner agencies contributing funding to the SSCB training budget - FREE

·        Statutory agencies not contributing funding to SSCB - £75 per person per course

·        Voluntary and charitable organisations based within Staffordshire County Council boundaries - FREE

·        All others - £75 per person per course *

If for any reason you are unable to attend, we would be most grateful if you could inform us as soon as possible, so that we can amend our records. 

Failure to notify us of a cancellation:

• LESS than 2 weeks will incur a CANCELLATION FEE OF £75.
• LESS than 4 weeks will incur a CANCELLATION FEE OF £37.50.

NO CHARGE WILL BE MADE IF A REPLACEMENT MEMBER OF STAFF IS SUBSTITUTED, HOWEVER THIS STAFF MEMBER MUST MEET ANY PRE-REQUISITE REQUIREMENTS

The charge will be sent to your manager.

*Where there is a training cost for the course itself, cancellations within four weeks of the course are not refundable and your organisation will still be invoiced.

In exceptional circumstances a training event may need to be cancelled by us.  In such an event, we shall let you know about the cancellation as soon as we can, and return your payment, if applicable.
